Founding Director and Head of Environmental Design in Urban Systems Design

Klaus is a Founding Director and Head of Environmental Design in Urban Systems Design. With over 30 years of professional experience, Klaus´ work has been focused on environmental design strategies and low-energy engineering and innovative solutions at both building and masterplan scales.

 

Klaus has also a 20-year involvement with academia collaborating with Universities in the UK, Europe and South America. He promotes a collaborative style of design and works closely with clients and architects to establish a shared understanding of their project’s ambitions, focusing on an overall environmental vision and delivering environmental performance in the built environment. 

 

He has collaborated with a wide range of internationally acclaimed architects on unique building and masterplan projects across Europe, the Americas, Africa the Middle East and Far East. In the last decade, some of the key projects that Klaus has led the MEP and environmental design in USD and working for previous companies are: Sohar International Bank HQ, Muscat, Oman; KREA University Campus, Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, India; Dubai Creek Tower, Dubai, UAE; UAE Pavilion at Dubai World Expo 2020, Dubai, UAE; Whiteleys, London, UK; Battersea Power Station Phase 2, London, UK; London 2012 Olympic Velodrome, London; One Monte Carlo, Sport d’Hiver Hotel, Monaco; and many others.
