All participants are required to make the registration via ConfTool online registration system then proceed for the payment according to the below given instructions under the category they belong to.
NOTE: Reduced fees are being calculated for possible online scenarios. The early bird deadline is no longer applicable .The fees for a virtual PLEA conference will be lower than those in the table below.
All presenters must pay either a three day a Professional or a Student Registration Fee.
Kindly note that PLEA 2020 requires that the lead author must pay a three day registration fee by the 12th of August for their paper to be presented and published in the proceedings. At this point the programme will be finalised.
Each paper requires a registration and one lead author may not present more than one paper at the conference unless a second paper fee is also paid for each additional paper.
These fees cover the not inconsiderable expenses incurred in the handling, refereeing and publication of papers in the conference proceedings and the provision of space and programming of presentations in the busy schedule.
The author, by submitting a paper for the conference, is guaranteeing that the work submitted is original and has not been previously published.
All Attendees (including students) who are presenting papers and those submitting papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings must register by the 12th of August to both present at the conference and/or to have their papers published in the proceedings. Failure to register will result in automatic withdrawal of the submission from the conference proceedings and programme.
All students must present evidence of theirs students' status on registration.
Fees, minus a 10% administration fee, will be returned if cancellations occur before the 5th of August 2020 but not after that date.
Participants who do not cancel and do not attend will not be eligible for refund. Cancelled papers will not be published in Proceedings.
In the event that the conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Conference Organisers, such as war, strikes, natural disasters, weather conditions, or any other cause beyond the control of the Conference Organisers, the Conference Organisers cannot be held liable by participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Under these circumstances, the Conference Organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future conference, or to reimburse the participants after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the Conference and which could not be recovered from third parties.
