Susan is an architect and researcher, with 17 years of experience across practice and academia. Originally from Scotland, she trained as an architect before practicing in London for almost 10 years. In 2012 she relocated to Denmark to begin her PhD, which explored the sociocultural and spatial dimensions of renewable energy infrastructures.  Following this, she was Head of Research and Sustainable Development for White Architects in Denmark, before beginning with GXN in 2018.

Her role as Head of Operations with GXN includes the strategic development of the behavioural design research cluster, sustainability and innovation consultancy, and project managing international architectural projects.
